It was taken with the flash during the night. Being above a river, the flash did light far enough to return a background picture. It was along the Kinessburn in the area close to the Memorial Hospital, in St Andrews

Eclipse

There was a solar eclipse with about 20% of the Sun covered in Scotland. My camera, despite the clouds was not able to see it.

Gulls departing

This is one of my best shots. There were gulls attracted by a guy giving them food. He left, they stayed a bit and I started shooting and one by one they left and I went on shooting.
