Merle in Snowy Bushes

I was really lucky with that one, because, although blacbirds, usually are not very afraid of humans in St Andrews, they do tend to move around. This one, just looked at the camera and kept the pose.

Azalés in the Snow

These flowers were growing close to the bike sheds of University Hall, where I lived. St Andrews, Scotland. It was a strange time when suddenly it became warmer and flowers sprung from everywhere and a week later, we had the most snow we ever had in St Andrews for 5 years
